Carol AnnMarie Robertson was my mother. Sadly she passed away on March 29th 2005. She left behind a
husband David, three daughters, Ruthie, Mary and Liz, and a much- loved son- in-law Gareth. She died
after a ten month battle against Acute Myloid Leukemia. She fought so hard and had a bone marrow
transplant, but sadly suffered an adverse reaction to it and lost her fight.
She was originally from Trinidad and we have never visited but plan to go in the near future.
I miss her every day, especially since our son was born. I know she would have adored him, and would
have been an amazing grandmother. However, she is looking after our sweet Timmy up in heaven. One
day we will all be reunited as we worship round our Saviour's feet.
I will never understand why she left us so early but trust in a sovereign God's will. I know
you are dancing for joy along those golden streets!
Never forgotten Mum. Love you always.

This clumsy tribute cannot do you justice,
You had an eye for beauty, the green outdoors,
You always missed home, the tropics you loved.
You loved your cricket, your gardening and family.
We still feel you left us too early,
Only sixty-four, you had years left in you.
You only ever have one mother,
She is irreplacable, a true treasure.
Missed forever, Mum.
Loved always. You live on in our hearts.
One day reunited in heaven.

I found a penny today
laying on the ground.
But its not just a penny
this little coin I found.
Pennies come from heaven
that's what my dad told me.
He said angels toss them down
to show their love for thee.
He said when an Angel misses you,
they toss a penny down.
Sometimes just to cheer you up
too make a smile out of a frown.
So, don't pass by that penny
when you're feeling blue.
It may be a penny from Heaven
that carol tossed to you.
